When Crowns Are the Right Call
Structure first: large loss of tooth structure after decay, cracks, or root canal treatment. If a filling or onlay can do the job, we will say so. A crown after a root canal is the standard for back teeth, sometimes not for front impressions. The lab communication step is deliberate: final photos travel with the impressions so the technician builds for your lower jaw's actual function, not a generic curve. Aftercare is forgiving: nothing special long-term — brush, floss, keep recalls. The first week of eating slowly is habit-building, not prescription.
